Tile and its installation, in many ways, haven’t changed much over the thousands of years of their existence. Yet in the early 2000s, more refined manufacturer process allowed for the development of ultra-thin tile (1/8″-1/4″ thick compared to 1/2″ to 3/4″) that could be developed in a variety of sizes, including large format (up to 2′ x 4′). SpecCeramics was among the first to not only embrace this unique offering, but also establish an in-house trademarked brand. My job was to explain the product at-a-glance to the discerning and precise A&D community.
